Dear God,

A new day is dawning.  I welcome it because I welcome you.  I see you in the new day, in all its possibilities and I know that I know that you are God.

I would not want to awaken to a world without you.  Why would I want to?  For you are the beauty, the hope, the love, the peace and the joy of all that is.  It would be a world without essence, true joy and the power to give life.  The meaning and purpose you give to human life is hidden in all things.  Your great mystery unfolds each morning.  Because of who you are, you connect us to all living things, nature, people and all that is.  As I watch the light coming out of the darkness, I have greater reason to say YES to you.

You are God;

there is none

like you.

Thank you

for all

you are

and the

amazing grace

you give us

by calling 

us all 

children of the

Living God.

for the gift

of this glorious,

new day!
